Composition

active ingredient: glycerol;

1 suppository contains 686 mg of glycerol;

excipients: gelatin, purified water

Indications

Symptomatic treatment of constipation of various etiologies in children from 3 months to 1 year of age (when oral medications are not possible).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to glycerol or to any ingredient of the medicine. Renal insufficiency, irritable bowel syndrome, intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, bleeding, diarrhoea, acute hemorrhoids, fissures of the anus, inflammatory diseases, rectal tumours, undiagnosed abdominal pain, haemorrhagic rectocolitis.

Routes of Administration and Dosage

Children.

Apply 1 suppository once a day.

The suppository is inserted into the rectum and kept there for at least 5 minutes, unless voiding occurs earlier. The remains of the suppositories are excreted from the body with faeces.

Treatment of constipation should not exceed 3 days.

Children. The medicine is used in children aged 3 months to 1 year.
