Composition

One 500 mg (net) capsule contains:

lactobacillus L. Plantarum LB931

10 billion CFU (CFU)/50 mg (mg)

Excipients: corn starch, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.

Indications

Vagibiotic® is recommended to increase the number of natural lactobacilli in the vaginal environment and inhibit the growth of opportunistic microflora, which is the main link in the development of bacterial vaginosis.

The use of Vagibiotic® prevents such manifestations of bacterial vaginosis or vaginitis as itching, discharge, unpleasant odour, etc.

Vagibiotic® is used for prophylaxis in case of prescription of antibacterial, hormonal and other therapies that may lead to disorders of vaginal microbiocenosis in order to prevent dysbiotic shifts (decrease in the number of lactobacilli and increase in opportunistic and pathogenic microorganisms).

Vagibiotic® may be recommended as an additional source of lactobacilli to boost immunity and normalise intestinal and vaginal microflora; in case of pathologically altered vaginal microflora (e.g. bacterial vaginosis or vaginal yeast infection); during and after antibiotic treatment; in case of stress-related disorders; in case of decreased immune system function; during the period of use of medications that affect the quality of vaginal microflora (oral contraceptives); during and after pregnancy; after use of hormonal drugs; after a sexually transmitted infection.

Contraindications

This product can be used independently for clearly defined manifestations that do not require medical attention. The product can be used without a doctor's prescription, but only after consulting a doctor in accordance with the information in this leaflet. If the symptoms do not disappear within a short period of time, you should seek medical advice. Before use during pregnancy and lactation, consult a doctor.

Routes of Administration and Dosage

Children from 14 years of age and adults take 1 capsule twice a day half an hour before meals for a week, with a sufficient amount of water. A repeat course can be used after 3 weeks.

It is recommended to consult a doctor before use.

It should not be used as a substitute for a complete diet.
